09 04 200816 04 2008LESOTHO AND GOLDEN GATE8 Days The Kingdom of the Sky is how the people of Lesotho describe their beautiful country. After one night on the road the tour enters Lesotho and proceeds to the Malealea resort high in the mountains. This will be a two night stay which allows time to see village life. Thereafter we travel to Maseru and through the length of the country into the Free State at Fouriesburg for 3 nights. Other attractions will be a visit to the huge Katse Dam in Lesotho, the Golden Gate Highlands National Park and Witsieshoek, high in the Drakensberg, before returning to Cape Town via the Eastern Free State and Bloemfontein. 15 04 200817 04 2008STARS IN YOUR EYES 3 Days A visit to Sutherland and a chance to see the stars through a telescope on a clear Karoo night is an experience not to be forgotten. We will stop at Matjiesfontein for lunch where there will be time to explore this fascinating Victorian village and its museums. We continue to Sutherland where, after dinner, we have the opportunity of looking at the night sky through a telescope. On the following day we explore the town of Sutherland and join a tour of the observatory including a visit to the SALT telescope. On the final day we return via the Michell’s and Bain’s Kloof Passes. Tour price on application
20 04 200827 04 2008KALAHARI SAFARI8 Days The Kalahari Safari is a true wilderness touring experience not to be missed. En route we visit Okiep, the cathedral at Pella and the mighty Augrabies Falls. Thereafter we travel through Kakamas & Keimoes to Upington and finally into the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Here we will look for the big Kalahari lions and the cheetah. Other game could include gemsbok, wildebeest and springbok as well as smaller antelope. The birdlife is abundant, especially the raptors. Accommodation in the Park will be at Twee Rivieren and Mata Mata. The return is via Calvinia and Clanwilliam. Tour price on application.
07 05 200809 05 2008RIEBEEK VALLEY3 Days We spend three days in this charming valley, famous for its olives and wines. On the way we stop in the town of Darling and visit the Darling Museum as well as the famous Evita se Peron. At the Olive Boutique learn about olive oil and how it is made, and also visit the Oude Kerk Museum. There will be an opportunity to taste some local wines on one of the estates and the Jan Smuts Museum will also be visited where General J. C. Smuts was born. We return to Cape Town via Tulbagh (where there will be time to explore Church Street and some of its interesting museums) and Bain’s Kloof Pass. Tour price on application.
16 05 200830 05 2008NAMIBIA15 Days Discover Namibia on this great tour which is a round trip taking in most of the highlights Namibia has to offer. Having driven through Namaqualand we enter Namibia at Vioolsdrift and continue to Ai-Ais and the Fish River Canyon. Thereafter we travel to Keetmanshoop, Windhoek and on to the Etosha National Park. Next to Khorixas and the petrified forest, then through the desert to Henties Bay and Cape Cross. Swakopmund and Walvis Bay are also visited. A special trip into Sossusvlei and the enormous dunes follows. Then through to Duwisib Castle and Lüderitz. We conclude with a night in Okiep and the return drive back to Cape Town. 02 06 200805 06 2008SUN CITY4 Days We fly to Johannesburg from where we are transferred to Sun City. There will be time to relax and enjoy the many attractions on offer. 14 06 200818 06 2008RICHTERSVELD5 Days This is a 4X4 adventure into the wonderful and arid Richtersveld. We drive in our normal vehicle to Okiep for the night. The next three days we travel in a 4x4 vehicle throughout the Richtersveld spending two nights in the Park. We return to Okiep for the last night before returning to Cape Town. 21 06 200826 06 2008EASTERN CAPE WILD LIFE7 Days The focal point of this tour will be a visit to the Addo Elephant National Park and a local private game reserve. However we will travel via Graaff-Reinet where we visit the Valley of Desolation. En route we also visit Nieu-Bethesda and the famous ""Owl House"" and the Mountain Zebra National Park. 02 07 200804 07 2008VICTORIA FALLS3 Days Known by the locals as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” or the Smoke that Thunders the Victoria Falls is truly one of the most spectacular natural features on the African continent. We fly to Livingstone in Zambia where we stay at the Zambezi Sun Hotel. Besides viewing the Falls themselves there are a number of optional excursions available including a day trip to the Chobe National Park in Botswana, a cruise on the mighty Zambezi River or a helicopter flip over the Falls. Having enjoyed two nights at the Falls we return to the airport for our flight back home. Tour price on application.
07 07 200813 07 2008HLUHLUWE AND ST LUCIA7 Days Leaving Cape Town we fly to Durban. Here we will have time to do a City Tour before moving to the North Coast for our first night. The next few days will be spent in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park and environs. We will include a cruise up the St Lucia estuary. On the final day we return to Durban for the flight back to Cape Town. 16 07 200822 07 2008CHRISTMAS IN JULY7 Days This year Christmas in July will be spent at Kings Lodge at Hogsback. The tour will take part in the annual Christmas in July event held in the village. There will also be time to explore the area and take in the sights. We travel through Knysna and Grahamstown returning via Graaff-Reinet. Tour price on application.
26 07 200803 08 2008DRAKENSBERG9 Days Enjoy the majestic Drakensberg mountains and all the variety this region has to offer. The first night will be spent in the Tsitsikamma area. We continue via Grahamstown and Umtata to KwaZulu-Natal. On the following day we reach our mountain resort destination for a three night stay. There will be plenty of time to either enjoy the many activities on offer, or to just sit back and relax. We continue to Clarens driving through the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. 29 09 200805 10 2008KAROO AND STARS7 Days This tour combines the best of the Karoo with the Stars in Your Eyes tour and makes the most of our wonderful hinterland. The tour travels to Calvinia for the first night, then explores the central Karoo towns of Williston, Carnarvon and Loxton arriving at Melton Wold near Victoria West for a two night stay. Our next stop will be at a Karoo guest farm outside Beaufort West for a further two nights. There will a visit to Meiringspoort with lunch at De Rust. We continue to Sutherland where we will have an opportunity of looking at the night sky through a telescope as well as having a tour of the observatory including a visit to the SALT telescope. 07 10 200812 10 2008MPUMALANGA AND KRUGER PARK6 Days On this tour we fly to Johannesburg and visit Mpumalanga Province with its many attractions. We visit Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls, God’s Window, Graskop and Pilgrims Rest. Two nights will be spent in the area. Now we enter the Kruger National Park for several wonderful days of game-spotting and start our quest to see the Big Five. A night drive in an open vehicle will be included. Leaving the Park the tour will return to Johannesburg for the flight back to Cape Town. Tour price on application.

04 11 200808 11 2008PLETTENBERG BAY5 Days This year we will be arranging another mini-break at this lovely seaside resort where we will again be staying at the Bayview Hotel. The first night will be spent at Mossel Bay where we will visit the Dias Museum Complex. The next day we take a game drive in an open vehicle at a private game reserve before continuing to Plettenberg Bay. While in Plettenberg Bay we will visit a number of attractions including Birds of Eden, the Elephant Sanctuary and a ferry trip up the Keurbooms River. We return to Cape Town via Knysna, the Tradouws Pass and Barrydale. Tour price on application.
